Crisis counselling
Our counsellors help you and your loved ones to navigate the aftermath of a crisis, a serious accident or some other stressful, traumatic and unexpected event. You can contact us to talk about, for example, the following:
- death of a loved one
- suicide attempt by a loved one
- personal experience with violence or serious crime
- serious illness (yourself or a loved one)
- major accident (such as a house fire)
We provide advice and guidance in times of crisis and, if necessary, refer you to the correct service provider.
We coordinate the provision of psychosocial support in connection with major disasters and emergencies. The psychosocial support we provide covers both acute crisis counselling and longer-term trauma-informed social services.
