There will be changes in Keusote’s services and opening hours during Christmas and New Year. Information about the changes can be found on this page. 

Mental health, substance abuse and social services for adults 

• All social rehabilitation units will be closed from 23 December 2024 to 6 January 2025. 

Administrative services 

• Registry, invoicing services and other administrative services will be closed from 23 to 27 December. 

Services for children, young people and families 

• Family law services: 
  • Guidance, counseling and appointment booking phone service for child welfare officers will be closed on 23 December 
  • Meeting place Neppari in Järvenpää will be closed from 24 to 26 December 2024 and 1 January 2025. 
  • Meeting place Neppari in Hyvinkää will be closed from 22 to 26 December 2024 and 1 January 2025. 
• Family counseling clinic and youth station: 
  • There will be reduced activities in family counseling clinics and youth stations on 23 and 27 December. 
• Home services for families with children: 
  • There will be reduced activities from 23 December 2024 to 3 January 2025, which may cause delays in responses to contact requests. 
• Maternity and child health clinics: 
  • There will be reduced activities from 16 December 2024 to 6 January 2025, with examinations for pregnant women and children under 1 year of age only. 
  • Maternity and child health clinic in Rajamäki will be closed from 23 December 2024 to 1 January 2025. 
  • Maternity and child health clinics in Jokela, Kellokoski and Pornainen will be closed from 23 December 2024 to 3 January 2025. Clients may visit other clinics in Keusote area during this time. 
  • Walk-in maternity and child health clinic services are operating normally. 
  • Maternity and child health clinic phone service will close at 12 pm on 23 December. The phone service will be closed from 24 to 26 December 2024 and on 1 January 2025. 
  • Maternity and child health clinic chat services will be closed from December 23, 2024, until further notice. Chat services will reopen in the spring when the new digital service platform is launched.

Local service desks 

• All local service desks are closed from 23 to 27 December. 
• Chat services will be closed from December 23, 2024, until further notice. Chat services will reopen in the spring when the new digital service platform is launched.

Health services and medical care 

Nurse and doctor’s appointment services and oral health care 

• All health stations and dental clinics will be closed from 24 to 26 December 2024, on 1 January and on 6 January 2025. In urgent matters, patients may visit the joint emergency department (open at all times) and Keusote acute ward (open from 8 am to 8 pm) in Hyvinkää hospital. Please call the medical helpline 116 117 before arriving. 
• Nurmijärvi: Healthcare services and dental clinic in Rajamäki health center and Nurmijärvi Kirkonkylä dental clinic will be closed from 23 December 2024 to 1 January 2025. 
• Tuusula: Healthcare services in Kellokoski and Jokela health stations and Kellokoski dental clinic will be closed from 23 December 2024 to 6 January 2025. Jokela dental clinic will be permanently closed on 5 December and resume operations as a mobile dental healthcare service in spring 2025. 
• Pornainen: Healthcare services and dental clinic in Pornainen health station will be closed from 23 December 2024 to 6 January 2025. 
• Hyvinkää: Dental clinic in Hyvinkää hospital will be closed from 23 December 2024 to 6 January 2025. 

Rehabilitation, therapy and assistive device services 

• Physiotherapy services in Kellokoski will be closed from 23 December 2024 to 6 January 2025. 
• Disability outpatient clinic will be closed from 23 December 2024 to 6 January 2025. 

Laboratory and imaging services 

• Järvenpää laboratory: 
  • Open from 9 am to 4 pm on 6 December 
  • Week 52: Open from 7 am to 8 pm on 23 December, from 7 am to 1 pm on 24 December and from 7 am to 8 pm on 27 December. Closed for the rest of the week. 
  • Weeks 1 and 2: Closed on 1 January. Open from 8 am to 4 pm on 6 January. Otherwise, open as usual. 
• Other laboratories in Keusote area: 
  • Closed on 6 December. 
  • Week 52: Open as usual on 23 and 27 December, closed for the rest of the week. 
  • Weeks 1 and 2: Open with usual Friday operating hours on 31 December. Closed on 1 and 6 December. Otherwise, open as usual. 
• X-ray services in Järvenpää: 
  • Week 52: Open from 8 am to 6 pm on 23 and 27 December. Open from 8.15 am to 3.30 pm for the rest of the week. 
  • Weeks 1 and 2: Open from 8.15 am to 3.30 pm on 1 and 6 January. Otherwise, open as usual. 
• X-ray services elsewhere in Keusote area: 
  • Closed on midweek holidays. Otherwise, open as usual. 

Services for people with disabilities 

• Social work for people with disabilities will operate with a smaller number of staff within the usual operating hours on 23 and 27 December. More information is on the guidance and counseling helpline 019 226 0433. 
• The daytime activity units of services for people with disabilities will be closed on 23 and 27 December. 
• Short-term childcare Tikkarelli will be closed from 24 to 26 December. 
• The personal assistant service will be operating with a smaller number of staff from 23 December 2024 to 3 January 2025. Assistant visits agreed in advance will be carried out. 
  • Telephone service is closed from 24 to 26 December 2024 and on 1 January 2025. Open from 9 am to 12 pm on 23, 27, 30 and 31 December 2024, and from 2 to 3 January 2025. 
• Personal assistance centre will have reduced operations from 23 December 2024 to 3 January 2025 between 9 am and 12 pm. During this time, we will focus only on the most urgent guidance and counseling. If your issue can wait until the usual operating hours resume on 7 January 2025, please contact us then.
